The Hobbit Filming Locations Updates to Google Maps

News reports of altogether new filming locations have been scarce, at best. Elected to include various production facility locations, such as the Wexford Road facility named in blog #9. Making efforts to ensure accuracy of the locations by matching with photos from the news and production. Still working on the "Goblin House" as mentioned in blog #9. The Hobbit - Filming Locations on Google Maps Made a few refinements. Treble Cone Ski Resort by the Cloud Nine Ski Run, where a publicity photo shows cast members taking a break near a sign for the ski run. A group of dwarfs in a publicity photo from Earslawn Burn shows the Earnslaw Glacier in the background. I don't see many of us hiking to that location If one is a user of Google Earth, the KML file all these locations can be downloaded and viewed in Google Earth.

Thanks again for sharing this with us occasionally.
Koru: Maori symbol representing a fern frond as it opens. The koru reaches towards the light, striving for perfection, encouraging new, positive beginnings.

Just need to tape my mouth shut during the film so I don't blurt out to those next to me, "I KNOW WHERE THAT IS!" As that would certainly result in a curse alike to, "May the fleas of 1000 orcs infest you." That is, of course, if orcs have issues with fleas.
