Most curious remark:
"As the different costumes emerge they represent a different part of Thorin. I kind of move slightly differently in each costume and towards the end of the third film the character's physical shape drastically changes from the beginning."
In what way, I wonder?

RA said quite early on that it was the armour to end all armours. I wonder if it's the same as that portrayed in the Weta Hobbit Chronicles or if they've changed the design?

I'd really like to hear more about the elven and dwarven Rings... they said far too little about them in LOTR. I hope they fix this.
If, as it is rumored, Sauron is the main villan, and not Smaug, in the Hobbit, I hope they tell us more about the Seven and the Three.

I'm just making assumptions here because we haven't seen this armour yet. The small picture shows Thorin working barechested in his forge but, as far as I can make out, PJ rejected this and put him in a shirt (see facing page) presumably because of the difficulty of upper body prosthetics. Who knows whether this armour has been rejected or not?

A sudden growth spurt could give us that braided beard, perhaps, which would be appropriate once he was King under the Mountain. (It looks quite kingly to me, anyway.)

In the beginning, Thorin looks like a heroic leader. But maybe he gets all wild-looking in the third movie. That would be my guess.

He might not be too polished-looking in AUJ, but he'll be in control of himself. But I'm thinking that during TABA, he'll be going haywire for a while--that's what I'm talking about when I say "wild". Then at the end he'll get better, put on the armor, and look kingly and noble.
