... and I would like to see it, truly, to make up my own mind about it, if nothing else. I'm not put off by all the grumbles and gripes - it seems to me that if this weren't something very special they wouldn't have gone out on a limb to use it. 'Otherworldly'... 'like nothing you have ever seen'.... I'd love to see it. Problem is, I can't. The US has a list of participating cinemas as long as both arms and a couple of legs. The UK has 4. Just 4. And there isn't one within reach of here. There isn't even one in London. So please, Mr Jannard, don't tantalise us with speeches about how wonderful this is unless it's possible for us to share it!!!

The great thing about 48fps for me is that i can see the film in 24fps first, and then if can watch it later in 48fps and it will be like a new experience again.

Already got my ticket for a 48fps showing because I want to give it a chance and try it for myself.

I'm definitely planning to see it sometime, but I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. But this is really encouraging. I'm really hoping to be fully immersed in the 3D 48fps. It has the potential to be really interesting.

I don't want to start a new one if there already has been.

Be ready for a shock. Wipe your mind clean. It is unreal. Jim Is is unreal or is it like looking at the real world? Another poster also said : I was very ho-hum initially about the 48fps as well as the LOTR look in general, but TRAILER 3 has me singing a different tune. hmmm...trailer 3

Until i hear a definite "no, with trailer 3 i don't mean the most recent trailer", i remain sceptical.

It doesn't look like a new trailer is coming out this week. You gotta admit, it's getting rather late...

What makes you so sure you would see the new full trailer in your theater? I haven't seen any Hobbit trailers in the theater i go to normally.

But we're so much closer now, and the list of theaters is now out, so people are probably planning it a little more. I'd go ahead and make a thread about it
