I find there to be something... [In reply to] Can't Post

...very fairy-tale, very fey, about these goblin designs. Not entirely sure about the weird proportions of the scribe, but apart from that, me likey. I particularly like the one in the big shot, with the whip.

Agreed [In reply to] Can't Post

In general, I find them to be much more Middle Earthian than their LOTR brothers.

GrInnah [In reply to] Can't Post

The one with the whip is grinnah the goblin, from bridge directs action figure line. I think scribe is there too.

It's from the movie guide [In reply to] Can't Post

Weird design. But I suppose he's only a minor character.

Exactly the case [In reply to] Can't Post

It might be in the movie guide where they say this. I need a bigger brain to remember where it is.

Beautiful [In reply to] Can't Post

These designs are incredible. Even though they are goblins, they actually evoke the unseen ancient creatures of the world that not even Sauron had heard of (like the ones Gandalf claimed to have seen below Moria.)

I just hope [In reply to] Can't Post

they haven't been modified too much from this concept art in the final product. The action figure of Grinnah suggests that some of the more horrorshow facial features have been toned down a bit.

Beautiful ? They're horrible ! [In reply to] Can't Post

What kind of underground disease gives them this look ? I don't really understand the enthusiasm for these poor unhealthy guys, but the more of them die in the movie happier I will be
