According to the article [In reply to] Can't Post

it's due to " the high level of local interest". I reckon if we summon up enough force to express a worldwide interest, they'll release it within two weeks max ...

No doubt!Laugh

Think I will wait a couple of weeks [In reply to] Can't Post

I will enjoy it much more when the fuss has died down a bit and I have more time.

You lucky guys/Gals [In reply to] Can't Post

Us australians have to wait for the 26th.No complaining here fellas.Laugh

We are more connected than ever before, more able to spread our ideas and beliefs, our anger and fears. As we exercise the right to advocate our views, and as we animate our supporters, we must all assume responsibility for our words and actions before they enter a vast echo chamber and reach those both serious and delirious, connected and unhinged.

YOU FRUITS!!!! [In reply to] Can't Post

But seriously, that's cool for the people of New Zealand; it's their hard work, and beautiful scenery, which gave us these films in the first place, so it's fitting that they get to see it first.

Just to be sure to come back here and report to us that Azog looks like a zombie zebra (zombra?), to temper our expectations the night before the films.

Actually, since NZ is a day ahead of many places, don't they get it two days early? Tongue

My Top 5 Wish List for "The Hobbit"
5. Legolas will surf down Smaug's neck
4. Bilbo will be revealed to a Robot
3. Naked PJ cameo as Ghan-Buri-Ghan
2. Use of not only 3D, but smell-o-vision, plus the inclusion of axes coming out of the seats and poking the audience when appropriate
1. Not only keep the claim that Thorin & Co. ran amok in Mirkwood "molesting people", but depict said incident in vivid detail!!!!!

Don't forget tax dollars [In reply to] Can't Post

along with the hard work and scenery. Seems only right they should see it first... for free!

I really need these new films to take me back to, and not re-introduce me to, that magical world.

Thanks for your generous offer Gramma. [In reply to] Can't Post

I'll just have to console myself with a hearty scoop (or three) of my homemade ginger and coconut icecream.
That is one thing I assume was lacking in Middle Earth.
