That's probably about the most he can say without an army of gold robot orcs coming for him in the night. //

Didn't they avoid having pre-screenings for the Lord of the Rings movies? I guess things could have changed with Warner Bros in charge now...

From the source (for those who don't know, Speedy's is the real life cafe which is below 221 Baker Street in Sherlock, and has become very much part of the show) I am assuming this would be a private screening for people who were involved in the Hobbit.

is really Moriarty, and he didnt really die, he captured PJ, and sent out disinformation to the world saying the Hobbit was being made, then on 14th December when we go to the cinema all we will see on screen is Moriartys sneering face going 'Gotcha!' and its revealed that Watson is really Bilbo come through a wormhole and sent to save the world from said criminal mastermind, only Sherlock is really Smaug and has kept a few tricks up his sleeve, namely firebreathing and flying, so Sherlock takes to the air in a huff, his long overcoat flying in the wind, and they have a huge roof top battle, and of course Watson and Sherlock save the day and the Necromancer/Moriarty is foiled. or maybe not.

I feel that between the two trailers and knowing where the film ends

We've already had a prescreening in theory. The scenes from both trailers fill in most of the blanks...the only key is the feel of the movie. The first trailer had a majestic feel to it (besides the dwarf intro), while the second trailer felt like a LOTR parody with cliched "epic" music. Here's hoping for a movie that feels like that first trailer did.

Well, someone posted a highly detailed review of TTT here on ToRN about two months(?) before release

I remember the concern when his mention of Faramir's "life being forfeit" was misinterpreted as Faramir's dying at the end of the movie, and the source had to go back and explain what had occurred in the scene...and he/she also really seemed to like JRD as Treebeard. I'll go back and see if I can find it.
My Top 5 Wish List for "The Hobbit" 5. Legolas will surf down Smaug's neck 4. Bilbo will be revealed to a Robot 3. Naked PJ cameo as Ghan-Buri-Ghan 2. Use of not only 3D, but smell-o-vision, plus the inclusion of axes coming out of the seats and poking the audience when appropriate 1. Not only keep the claim that Thorin & Co. ran amok in Mirkwood "molesting people", but depict said incident in vivid detail!!!!!
