And since we know Dain is suppose to arrive on a boar, this adds further evidence. And the Elf is wearing LOTR prologue armour - whoever accompanies the White Council might be wearing this armour then?

From the teaser trailer, Elrond's calendar picture and the Elven statues in Rivendell, I think it seems to me that the elves wear a slightly modified version of the Prologue Armor. So, I think we may be able to infer indirectly that (if the picture of the elf in armor is from the Dol Guldur assault) the elves accompanying the White Council are from Rivendell! If so, AWESOME! I loved that armor, but didn't like the bronze/gold look it had. Silver is much more up my alley!

If Elrond wears an armor, it probably means that he will take part in the Dol Guldur battle. Maybe all the white council will move to battle ! And, if Saruman is there too and encounter the necromancer, maybe we will witness the origins of his betrayal !

Great work, yet I doubt these are the same designs as in the movies

In the boar riding picture, the Dwarves have a bit too much curved lines in their designs. Also the horn horns on the helmet seem something John and Alan at least would protest to. Legolas, Gandalf and Thorin do seem to be movie correct, though. (Really liking Legolas' armor, too!)
But every word you say today Gets twisted 'round some other way And they'll hurt you if they think you've lied

I wonder if we will indeed get to see Elly and Gandy scout out Dol Guldur, as mentioned in a Summer 2011 Empire Article? Or has he been replaced there by Radagast, and this outfit will debut at the Battle at the same locale? In any case, Elrond will definitely be getting out of Rivendell!
My Top 5 Wish List for "The Hobbit" 5. Legolas will surf down Smaug's neck 4. Bilbo will be revealed to a Robot 3. Naked PJ cameo as Ghan-Buri-Ghan 2. Use of not only 3D, but smell-o-vision, plus the inclusion of axes coming out of the seats and poking the audience when appropriate 1. Not only keep the claim that Thorin & Co. ran amok in Mirkwood "molesting people", but depict said incident in vivid detail!!!!!

Hello everyone! I was just wondering if there will be a official hobbit game for ps3, xbox, etc? I know it has been rumours about it earlier, but never a official confirmation about it. (or have i missed it?) fantastic if we get a hobbit game like the tie in games for lotr triolgy, loved those games!

Warners was said to be working on an official TH game, but nothing concrete has really emerged - perhaps they're waiting to see how the film does? If I recall, there was no video game adaptation for FotR, but there were for TTT and RotK.

there will be two new games based on the hobbit trilogy, this is a part of the press release:
The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth is a game for mobile devices that challenges players to build and manage their own kingdom in Middle-earth, joining with other players to explore and engage in epic war. The Hobbit: Armies of the Third Age is a browser-based game that puts gamers at the helm of an army of Elves, Dwarves or Orcs, controlling heroes including Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, in fast-paced strategic combat, with the fate of Middle-earth hanging in the balance. Both games are free to play and will feature iconic locations and characters from The Hobbit Trilogy. more here:http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/...t-video-games-373919 ...and a cool wallpaper: https://kabam1-a.akamaihd.net/...6a7fa3d0c80a93a4.jpg

The rumor (as far as I'm aware) was that Warners had been working on a console game, but it seems that's not happening (for now). Both of these seem like they might be fun, through (but surely can't compete with the "Battle for Middle-earth" games IMO).

but they may turn out to be fun to play, we'll see. There is one console game coming out in fall'12, the Guardians of Middle-Earth, which is a multiplayer battle arena game with lotr and hobbit heroes...oh, also the lotr Lego game. Still no news of an open-world rpg - that would be THE game.

From the rest. Plus, where's the fun and realism of dwarves all having the exact same style? Elves and men have distinct cultural traits, so why not dwarves? My guess is that these are at least close to designs from the film, based on how accurate Thorin, Legolas and Gandalf are. Personally, I would be relived to know that the one-note "everything dwarfish is angular" design was relaxed a bit.
