He looks fiendish, more like the murderous bastard I always imagined him to be in "The Hobbit."

All the recent photos, plus the extra footage from the alternate blog, not to mention the soon to arrive trailer....I'm enjoying this!

I wouldn't be surprised if WB release the entire trailer in the form of stills

I love how they included Balin as the only other dwarf aside from Thorin in the still of their meeting with Elrond

Dear gracious, Galadriel is certainly living up to her Noldorin heritage. She looks beyond breathtaking!

I presume they give a load of websites "exclusive images" to publish

So they can get as much coverage as possible. Does seem odd when the trailer is only tomorrow!

The table caused me to second-guess my original assumption that they were in Rivendell.

It looks to be Rivendell. There's the waterfall in the background. Plus, where else would they be with Elrond? I think the set looks awesome. And it's easy to forget how short Thorin's supposed to be.

This round of pictures has me reassured. I love most of them. Is that a massive block of ice or glass in the moonlit scene in Rivendell? Looks great, whatever it is. This is also the first time we have seen Thorin (and Balin) in a long-shot like this, and the scaling looks great. No doubt that he's a dwarf there! And I LOVE the shot of Thorin atop the fir tree, with the moon in the background. Straight from my imagination.

Yeah, and great scale work in this scene... Presumably this is where they discover the moon letters?
