Upon watching Return of the King tonight, I noticed something I had never seen before:

A man behind Aragorn with an eye-patch on! Yes it's not the most interesting observation, but after all these years, and countless viewings, there are still things happening in the background that I have not yet noticed! On more research, this extra is the same extra in The Two Towers with a missing eye at Helm's Deep.
What things have you recently found while watching the films?

I can't remember a specific incident now though I guess I'll just have to make the sacrifice and watch again

I clicked the link just to see what shot of Aragorn you were talking about. 
But it's good to know that guy survived Helm's Deep. I was rooting for him....
I haven't watched the films in years *gasp*. Another thing on the summer to-do list.

It's too bad it's not actually mentioned or anything. I understand that Narsil took it's place, but since they took the time to make it, they should have at least shown it.
