Bag End in the Evening Mist

I did a painting a while ago of Bag End at night. I was happy with it at the time, but, I wanted to improve on it. The colors really didn't come out in the pic the way i wanted though. Planning on doing a whole series in honor of the new movies. Hope you like them.

I'm always fascinated with that sort of atmospheric diffusion. I bet the original looks even better.
I like the light coming from the door and out through the gate. And I like the windows. The more complicated multipane ones are impressive but the smaller, four pane with center circle ones are charming.

Thank you ! I 'm glad you like it and yes the colors are more vivid in person. Some of the stained glass is green and really cant bee seen in the photos.

I've never seen Bag End in such an intriguing and inviting vision before. I really love it! Well done!

All i can say is what everyone else in this thread has said, the paintings you have done are fantastic, im sure lots of people would be willing to purchase a print of them (i know i would love to have the bag end painting on my wall).
