The Mail Online has a photo of her, her son and boyfriend walking on Oriental Parade in Wellington, here. It's nice to see her looking so relaxed. :)

Thanks for the link. She looks much more elf-like as herself - and the baby's sweet. I'm sure they can fit him in somewhere - hobbit baby, child from Esgaroth...

Am I the only one thinking it'll be tough for Dominic Monaghan when he inevitably visits the set with Elijah & Billy later on this year? It's hard enough seeing your ex at the best of times, but with a baby, her new beau, and now part of something that was a big part of his life before they met as opposed to their shared life on Lost, must be weird to say the least. Like his immediate past and distant past colliding right in front of him. Or maybe he's more mature than I'm giving him credit, is glad to see her happy, and put a good word in for her with Pete! Either way, good luck to them all. ==============

I hope her role isn't so big that she needs to be there for months on end. And I would presume any visit the boys make will be relatively short. I mean, I dunno, but what would they do after they'd visited the set and said "hey" to everyone?

At least that is what has been said.
Kangi Ska Resident Trickster & Wicked White Crebain Life is an adventure, not a contest. At night you can not tell if crows are black or white.

...she doesn't feel like making the 13 hour flight a bunch of times back and forth, so they're staying until they don't need her anymore. At least that's what I would do.

...she's intends her performance to be informed by Tolkien's descriptions of the Mirkwood silvan elves. If the book she is carrying is LOTR or anything by Tolkien, I see that as a good sign that she wants her performance to feel authentic and to honor Tolkien's vision of that culture. Can't hurt, anyway.

she did an interview where she said she was a huge Lord of the Rings fan. That's one of the reasons she and Dom started hanging out together...that and their love of bugs and the outdoors. Now whether she was a fan of the books and/or the movie I do not know.

She's a real outdoorsy kind of woman. Loves to climb trees, white water rafting and rock climbing etc. I'm not surprised she was offered the role of a wood elf.
