I'm sure somebody has already come up with this one before, but I couldn't help myself. I love Legolas, but Will is annoying. that's my opinion. now.... Pirate versus Elf, who would win? what say you?

Some who have read the book, or at any rate have reviewed it, have found it boring, absurd, or contemptible; and I have no cause to complain, since I have similar opinions of their works, or of the kinds of writing they evidently prefer. I'm a user. I'll improvise. -Sam Flynn, TRON: Legacy

I had it BAD. It was embarrassingly bad. I finally came up with two things to lessen my slight embarrassment of it. One: Orlando might have only been a few years older than my sons (making it kind of smarmy) but Legolas was MUCH older. Two: I finally realized that part of the attraction had to do with physicality and, in many ways, he was physically similar to my husband... or at least my husband when I first met him in 1973! (although, the man has held up well, I must say.. better than I) I even had a surprise memory that, upon meeting my husband-to-be I thought... "He looks just like I imagine the Elves from Tolkien to look." now... how romantic is that? I still appreciate and enjoy Orlando but the crush is gone. That just makes space for what I hope is the upcoming Richard Armitage one.

Dang. I never was an orlando fangirl either, because I think orlando is freaking creepy. it's just Legolas. I say Legolas, because he's had anywhere between 500-3,000 years to learn fighting techniques, while will is only what, 19 or 20? oh, and Legolas is an Elf, but Will is only a human. but will does have one advantage that Legolas doesn't. a girlfriend who will attack Will's enemies. run, legolas! XD

Why can't I have both? Pirate and elf, oh my!

Well in my Legolas fan opinion by the time Will had drawn his sword Legolas would have put three arrows in his chest. Though Legolas is far to noble to evan think of it. You saw what he did with a Mumakil. Though Will is awesome got to remember that that was England this is Middle-Earth. I’ve got complete faith in Legolas. Jonathan the Elf Legolas' fan

Their both great! Thuogh I was a fan of legolas years before I even knew who Will or Orlando Bloom was. How weird is that, that i didn't know the actor who played Legolas. I was tempted to ask "who's Orlando Bloom?" when ever I heard his name. Huge fan now, at least of POTC and LOTR.

Elizabeth Swann is stronger than Will Turner in most respects, so Legolas gets my vote.

I'm glad the question isn't "which one you like best" but in a fight I doubt very much that a pirate could beat an elf. Legolas all the way.
