Elijah Wood Films in October Can't Post

http://movies.yahoo.com/news/usmovies.accesshollywood.com/elijah-wood-filming-hobbit-will-wonderful

I just saw an article on Yahoo which includes quotes from Elijah Wood saying that he goes to NZ to film "The Hobbit" in October, and that he has a very small part. We already knew he was part of the framing, but I still thought this might be interesting to some, as it gives a bit of a further hint as to the filming timeline.

I assume Ian Holm's part will be filmed at the same time [In reply to] Can't Post

Hopefully Christopher Lee's performance will be recorded sooner than that.

"I go down in October," he told Access. "I know a little bit about what I'm doing. It's a very small little piece. But more than anything, I'm excited to go back and visit with everybody. It's like a 12-year reunion!"

"There is a long road yet," said Gandalf. "But it is the last road," said Bilbo.

I'm getting a 404 for the Elijah video link... [In reply to] Can't Post

But fortunately, the website automatically went onto playing that video after the Sean Astin one.

Here's another link to the Elijah video just in case it works: Link.

It's so great to see him getting excited about going back :) [In reply to] Can't Post

Like he said, after playing that character for 4 years, he feels it'll be easy to step back into that world (paraphrasing). He also points out that it'll be 12 years since he first did filming in NZ. I think they waited until he finished the first shows of "Wilfred" that starts airing on FX the in a couple of weeks.

I really need these new films to take me back to, and not re-introduce me to, that magical world.

Elijah Wood coming in October... [In reply to] Can't Post

will not be the same without Samwise Gamgee. Which is probably why his part is "small".

Just for funs sake here is a link to a petition currently going for Samwise/Sean - http/www.thepetitionsite.com given by a fan on the home page.

do a seach for either Samwise Gamgee or Sean Astin in the search bar.Sly
