If that picture of Gandalf was in FOTR, I will kick myself for being unable to remember any such scene!

There was much more footage filmed of the Fellowship journeying South, and this is probably from those deleted scenes. I especially like the deleted scene, or rather, image, of the Fellowship near some thick green trees... let me see if I can find that image.

The larger picture seems to be showing the orchestra playing while the film is playing. Except that can't be the film playing. Were there no scenes actually in the movie that could have been used here? TOTALLY an overly obsessive nitpick, but darn it if that's not the first thing I thought of when I saw the publicity photo. ("Hey! That's not the Fellowship of the Ring!!!!!")

I'm thinking it was photoshopped.

It's a picture in a dark theater, so someone would have had to use flash photography, which would have likely blanked out whatever was shown on the screen, correct? (At least I think that's right.) It would make sense that they'd have to add a picture in later to represent the movie.

Wile you *can* get a pic of the screen in a situation such as this (the projectors are extremely high powered), this is a doctored promotional still. So your Photoshop guess is correct! -Doug
