Though last time I did someone beat me to it by a few seconds. So this time I just made a post in the other Hugo Weaving thread. I saw the picture 5 minutes after it was posted by PJ. Really liking these facebook updates.

There was that quick shot from the trilogy of him standing alone in Rivendell. It's really happening.

I'm guessing [In reply to] Can't Post

PJ probably does wear them at all times. If they're shooting in 3D, he probably has a set-up in which he can watch the playback in 3D and see how it looks as they go.

Silverlode

"Of all faces those of our familiares are the ones both most difficult to play fantastic tricks with, and most difficult really to see with fresh attention. They have become like the things which once attracted us by their glitter, or their colour, or their shape, and we laid hands on them, and then locked them in our hoard, acquired them, and acquiring ceased to look at them.
Creative fantasy, because it is mainly trying to do something else [make something new], may open your hoard and let all the locked things fly away like cage-birds. The gems all turn into flowers or flames, and you will be warned that all you had (or knew) was dangerous and potent, not really effectively chained, free and wild; no more yours than they were you."

Pete's weight...and facebook [In reply to] Can't Post

It's not a bad thing he's put a bit back on, personally when you look at him during those interviews where he was trying to save the hobbit from leaving New Zealand, he looked unwell, thin, tired and fedup. He might have been told by doctors after the ulcer that he needs to diet less.

Since the shoot began he looks healthy, happy and fun again.

I too am on facebook - I guess it's a quick way for TORN to get out news without udating the frontpage - which i guess takes a little more work, Facebook is made for sharing links etc.

on the issue of Elrond [In reply to] Can't Post

While i'm not sure where this photo came from, it had been much rumored that Hugo Weaving had been seen in Wellington. My guess is that he might have been shooting something in Australia and then decided to come to NZ to discuss his role, maybe see the script before he gets signed on.

This made my day Cool, I always loved Weaving's Elrond, he may not be that popular with some of the purists, but I wouldn't want anyone else playing the part in the Hobbit.

he's on one of those proton pump inhibitors & other medication to heal ulcers which as a side effect make you put on weight, he probably didn't have too much exercise during recovery as well.

Nothing good about putting on extra pounds.

Not to get caught in a debate about someone weight, but if someone is TOO skiny, then there is something good about putting on pounds. As long as it's all healthy...
