It's a great show. John Noble is so, so good as Walter. I hope Noble and Dourif get a scene (or more) together.

Although I can't keep up with tv schedules, and won't pay for the dvr option w/ my cable company....I bought season 1& 2 on blu ray and can't wait to pick up season 3. I also might have noticed another slight LOTR nod in Fringe ( i'll have to check this...) but I think it was episode #10 from season 2....When Walter is having one of his 'moments' remembering peoples names, I swear I heard him refer to someone as Gandalf. Anyone else notice this ?

Now I'm picturing Walter wandering around during the siege of Mias Tirith, commenting on things the way he does.

Walter Bishop demanding slurpees and red vines in Minas Tirith ! BTW...I checked episode 10 season 2, and no Gandalf mention...I watched it with the subtitles on and he mutters Gondon...or something. Dang.
