I hope they put this on the DVD [In reply to] Can't Post

There's going to be one hell of a 'Making Of' documentary.

Yes [In reply to] Can't Post

Though I think it would be possible to write a whole book about the making of the Hobbit. With the problems with the rights that prevented them made before LotR, the initial disagreement between Bob Shaye and Peter Jackson, the Tolkien Estate Lawsuit, the MGM debacle and now that, it would make an interesting read. You could only put a summary of all that on the DVD, I believe.

I do not suffer from LotR obsession - I enjoy every minute of it.

Did you just... [In reply to] Can't Post

...censor the word 'hell' into 'heck'? I think anyone puritannical enough to be bothered by a word as mild as 'hell' would probably be too disturbed by the violence in LotR to visit TORn in the first place. And why doesn't your post contain anything but a quote? I'm confused. Crazy

Not exactly [In reply to] Can't Post

It's been a while since Kristin explained her plan, but I'm certain she was talking more about the filming itself, while I was thinking along the line of what happened *before* the filming. That may get a chapter or two, but when you could include everything that happened so far in full detail, it could make a nice book of its own, I believe.
