No Megan Fox In "The Hobbit" Can't Post

I would assume the statement in the subject line is a no-brainer anyway ... Smile ... but found this article on FOXNews and decided to post it on the messageboards for fun. There are a million reasons why Megan Fox doesn't fit - but laughed at the reason given here.

Jimmy Heyward, the director of Jonah Hex was talking about Megan when he had this to say:

======================

“Everyone was really professional and cool, and it doesn’t hurt to have Megan running around. She’s pretty cool, she gets along with everyone and is really tight with the crew,” Hayward said. “She’s a nerd, a big comic book groupie. And she loves Lord of the Rings’”

So in diversifying her resume of roles – could a Hobbit be popping up in Fox’s future?

“No!’ Hayward exclaimed. “She’s too hot for that.”

I think I'd be endlessly distracted, Earl ... Smile But it is nice to know she's a Lord Of The Rings fan like the rest of us. Hey, she can attend the premiere in 2012 as someone's date ....

How about a cameo as the fox from LOTR? [In reply to] Can't Post

That poor fox got upstaged by a moth in the Jackson films...seems only right to make amends in The Hobbit.

Maybe Bilbo could encounter her in the woods....and...um...oh dear, I am going to stop in case someone from MGM is reading this site and starts to get ideas...

Megan A Foxy TORN Forum Reader? [In reply to] Can't Post

Maybe we could have a contest to guess which of our esteemed posters is actually Megan Fox. I say that because I've now just read this on TheStir:

=========================

During an interview for her newest movie, Jonah Hex, Megan dropped some hobbit knowledge when talking about what she reads on the LOTR forums. Yes, she's on the forums!

"And they'll complain that Frodo is eating the Lembas bread outside of Mordor instead of in the Mines of Moria. And they get really mad."

=========================

Yup, that sounds like us all right! Welcome Ms. Fox.

After further consideration, I think I'll folllow MrCere's suggestion now ...Smile

How about Megan AS the Hobbit? [In reply to] Can't Post

She looks just like Ian Holm, and I'm sure Gandalf knows how to do a gender-change operation if he really wants to!

BTW, Megan's too "hot" for the Hobbit? I'm sorry, but Liv is far prettier, IMO. At least she doesn't have an unfortunate Marilyn Monroe tattoo! Tongue

Samuel L. Jackson for Bilbo, Woody Allen for Thorin, Lewis Black for Bard and Gilbert Gottfried for Smaug!

No no no and NOOOOO [In reply to] Can't Post

Putting Megan Fox in anything now a days does not make it better or sexier. It makes films a word that I can not say on here without getting banned. She can not act, ruins every film she touches, and it just there for sex appeal.

Many a FALSE STEP is made by STANDING STILL.

Since the Fellowship only receives a supply of lembas while in Lórien, they can't have eaten any in Moria. Though perhaps this is the interviewer's mistake?

Wow. I have to say, I don't even know much about Ms. Fox and was certainly joking around about the inital post, but I am rather offended by that term you not-so-cleverly disguised. It's a horrible thing to call any woman, regardless of what she does or looks like. Just because a woman is sexy and uses her appeal to get work in the film business (my gods, imagine that happening...) does not mean she deserves to be degraded in such a derogatory manner. If I didn't know you were female, I'd suggest it was downright chauvanistic. Shame.
