But I'm going to substitute some lowfat chocolate milk instead. Must lower this cholestrol and get off the statin medicines--they are starting to scare me.
No plans for the holiday, except to take my car to get the ac fixed on Saturday. Just resting sounds great.

Is once you get a box properly packed, when you move KEEP that box, preferably labelled and order your boxes in a logical fashion so you can find the right box to pack up again. Then, when you "acquire" new STUFF, buy some boxes and begin when you open your new mathom of finding a box for it for when it too will have to be packed and shipped. By doing a little work once to get organized, moving becomes a snap - except storage for all those boxes! <chuckle>

And I get FOUR days off (the general in charge of AFSPC - Air Force Space Command - designated today my birth--- hehehe I mean a "Family Day" in conjunction with the holiday weekend. We normally get around six of those a year, usually Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day we get an extra day off.

I wish you ALL the best on getting off of the statins. That's what scared me into becoming MUCH more active and radically altering my diet was I did NOT want on statins because the side effects are a mile long and some of them are as dangerous as the cholesterol itself! (At least it sounded that way to me).

yeah, they are. I already have some neuropathy and my focus and memory have begun to suffer. I've been on them about 6 years. I just made an appointment with my doctor for Tuesday. I'm going off whether he likes it or not.

Only advice I can give you for such a brave step is to step up your game in exercise and getting as close as you can to vegetarian (THAT one REALLY rankles THIS old carnivore!) *SIGH!* But the price is very small when placed against possible extra years with my son.

A "bank holiday" can be any of several throughout the year with the only correlation between them is that the banks (and most other institutions) are closed that day and in many cases other businesses follow suit. If memory serves it came to be called bank holidays because if the banks closed to observe the holiday in question then it usually ended up being a national holiday. Did I get that right or close British TORnfolk?

Hold everything but the vodka.
Just had a three day five year audit at work. They found three deficiencies, two of which I think we'll be able to erase with some documentation. Life is good.
There's also some recommendations where they told us to do the exact oppostie of what previous inspectors said. Same old same old.
We're going to stay home this weekend and watch movies with friends.
