Screencap of the Day is a discussion looking at The Lord of the Rings movies one image at a time. It depends on volunteers to lead for one week, posting an image for discussion on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. New volunteers and new members to the boards are always most welcome! We need a total of 5 more volunteers--Choose 1 week to volunteer (each person does 3 days-Mon, Wed, Fri-of screencaps) Week of July 6– July 6-1 Screencap from Part 43 July 8-1 Screencap from Part 44 July 10-1 Screencap from Part 45 Week of July 13 -- July 13-1 Screencap from Part 46 July 15-1 Screencap from Part 47 July 17-1 Screencap from Part 48 Week of July 20 -- July 20-1 Screencap from Part 49 July 22-1 Screencap from Part 50 July 24-1 Screencap from Part 51 Week of July 27 -- July 27-1 Screencap from Part 52 July 29-1 Screencap from Part 53 July 31-1 Screencap from Part 54 Anyone who wants to help, just familiarize yourself with the website, http://www.framecaplib.com/lotrlib.htm. Bookmark this site, if you wish. Each person will be assigned a part, seen at the top of the screen or at the left margin. For your days, choose the most evocative screencap in the part; you have 24 to choose from in each part. Copy the link of the cap and post it in your thread or post the image if you're more technically inclined, with the subject labeled "Screencap of the Day." Magpie has provided an excellent tutorial for posting images. You can find it here: http://www.amagpiesnest.com/a/torn/PostingImages/ Three or four questions should do. Anything is fair game in these. Previously, we've talked about changes from the book, technical aspects of the scene (cinematography, editing, score, lighting, etc), acting, props, or you could talk about a controversial question you remember us discussing at one point. Remember these are just suggestions. Feel free to ask anything you want to know more about. And as always, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me here or PM me. I'm happy to help. Thanks!
