My apologies, everyone! I completely dropped the ball and forgot to ask for volunteers last week!
Screencap of the Day is a discussion looking at The Lord of the Rings movies one image at a time. It depends on volunteers to lead for one week, posting an image for discussion on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. New volunteers and new members to the boards are always most welcome!
We need a total of 3 more volunteers--Choose 1 week to volunteer (each person does 3 days-Mon, Wed, Fri-of screencaps)

Anyone who wants to help, just familiarize yourself with the website, http://www.framecaplib.com/lotrlib.htm. Bookmark this site, if you wish.
Each person will be assigned a part, seen at the top of the screen or at the left margin. For your days, choose the most evocative screencap in the part; you have 24 to choose from in each part. Copy the link of the cap and post it in your thread or post the image if you're more technically inclined, with the subject labeled "Screencap of the Day."
Magpie has provided an excellent tutorial for posting images. You can find it here: http://www.geocities.com/...tingImages/index.htm
Three or four questions should do. Anything is fair game in these. Previously, we've talked about changes from the book, technical aspects of the scene (cinematography, editing, score, lighting, etc), acting, props, or you could talk about a controversial question you remember us discussing at one point. Remember these are just suggestions. Feel free to ask anything you want to know more about.
And as always, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me here or PM me. I'm happy to help.

but I will take the week of May 25th if that's okay. That's Memorial Day weekend, so I should have time to prep. I have a new laptop, too, so that will help! Yay! It's my first one and I'm completely in love with it. I just need to know which movie to take these particular scenes from. I use to to do these pretty regularly, so it would be fun to do one again! Thanks for organizing it, AD!

I wasn't even sure which screencaps I would have; I was just going by the date. I couldn't have asked for a better set of scenes! It's like Lay's potato chips- no one can eat just one! How will I choose???? It's a great problem to have.
