These two cousins never got the chance to meet properly, (if memory serves me, they only briefly crossed paths once.) But if they had met, and decided they didn't really get on, who would win a fight to the death??

But after he killed Tuor, he decides that he actually liked the guy, and then goes into deep depression. Again.

Turin was more of an "act first, think later" kind of guy!

Turin is a better fighter than his cousin. Tuor's no slouch, but he's not quite in Turin's league. And Tuor would be in just as much danger from Turin if he was fighting alongside him! Turin is as deadly to his allies as he is to his enemies.
We're discussing the BBC Lord of the Rings Radio Play on the Movie Discussion - LOTR board. With caffeine, all things are possible. The pity of Bilbo will screw up the fate of many.

I’m going with the act first cry later guy too.

Okay, so the two circle each other. Tuor tries for some witty banter, "Haha, so if I'm not one of your best friends does that mean that you won't kill me?" Turin fires up and attacks first. Tuor blocks and slashes down at Turin's feet. Turin parries and retailiates swiftly, raking his sword down Tuor's back. Tuor's clothes rip and fall off and he immediately drops his sword and tries to get them back on. While Tuor is bent over trying to gather up his clothes, Turin whaps him on the buttocks. Tuor lets out a girly whoop and leaps away. Turin chases him. They race around in the woods for a while until Tuor gets tired and runs smack-bang into a tree, where he miraculously finds his sword again. Taking it up, he furiously swordfights with Turin. Turin wins with a strong stab through the neck, pinning Tuor upright against the tree (dead of course). Turin stands there aimlessly for a while, then goes off someplace quiet and commits suicide. Charming.
Looking around Elrond's library...chucking stones in the waterfalls...singing tra-la-la with the elves....yup, life's good in Rivendell.

I'd want Tuor to win, just because I like him better, but I have to give it to Turin. He has more skill than I think Tuor would. And then of course Turin would regret it and go make some bad choice that gets someone else killed... *shakes head*

Turin would chase after Tuor and yell "Sorry cousin! Idril's MINE!" and kill him.
