It looks like Aragorn is about to take on John Travolta... ;) While Legolas would have gravity-defying moves, I'll go for Merry and Pippin - whose tandem dancing routine includes somersaults over the perturbed dancing elf...
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded b*****d with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. Merry and Pippin would do some ambitious hip hop moves with more enthusiasm than talent. Sam would be too embarrassed to get out on the floor, but Frodo would give him a push when he wasn't expecting it. He'd stumble around a bit and retire to the bar with his face flaming red. Frodo would stick around to enjoy the scene, do some dancing, and watch Merry and Pippin try to pick up girls. Aragorn and Boromir would dutifully dance with the rest of the gang for a couple of songs, then retire to the bar. Gimli would challenge Legolas to a dancing contest, trip over his beard, and fall flat on his face. He'd then beat a hasty retreat and join Aragorn, Boromir, and Sam at the bar. Legolas would be graceful and smooth and have all the right moves. Jaws would drop when he hit the dance floor -- he'd have to beat the girls off with a stick to even make it there! Gandalf would completely abandon his wizardly dignity and have a great time dancing with some hot young guy over in the corner.
We're discussing the BBC Lord of the Rings Radio Play on the Movie Discussion - LOTR board. With caffeine, all things are possible. The pity of Bilbo will screw up the fate of many.

Gimli's stomp gets the crowd warmed up then the four hobbits perform an intricate reel without spilling a drop of ale. Aragorn sways in waltzing with an unseen partner at half the tempo of the music being played. When God Save the Queen comes on, Boromir finally finds his feet and slam dances everyone off the floor. Gandalf enters can-can-ning, always just out of range of Boromir, while Legolas misses the whole competition as he attends to the ladies. The applause-o-meter gives it to Leggy anyway because he is the only one that didn't muddy the floor.

Hmm... i don't really know who would win... I've never seen Aragorn dance...
Dagonet, Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky, Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die, One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne In the Land of Mordor where the Shdows lie. One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

Oh man, how funny would it be to watch Gimli try and break-dance? XD While I think that Aragorn would be a good dancer, and so would Legolas, I have to give it to Merry and Pippin. As is evidence from the movies, those two make an excellent dancing duo. When they get started you can't help but enjoy watching them!

Legolas is light on his feet, but I think Pippin could work him over pretty good.
I don't know why she loves me, but she says she does.
