PARTY GAME: Hobbit Forming! Can't Post

In honor of Bilbo and Frodo's birthdays, I'd like to present a quiz that takes note of some of those Hobbits who attended the Party (or received presents at Bag End the next day).

Below are ten phrases - misspellings are intentional, punctuation is whimsical. The letters in each phrase can be rearranged to form the name of a hobbit who appears (many only once) in either "A Long-expected Party" or the beginning of "The Shadow of the Past". So, get those books out! Why, you were going to re-read these in honor of these two fine Bagginses anyway, weren't you?

All names consist of two words. Good luck! Hint: if you're having a bit of trouble, try looking for names that have, say, a "v" or two "l's" or five "o's".

1. A' do sing, brag

2. Odd fatty wood

3. Crabby durn York

4. Nasty add men

5. Dale snook

6. Milk candy troubble

7. Do revert, oak

8. Good crab stream

9. To do: pour food

10. Chugged ole briar
