G'day, I was wondering if you could fix a typo in the subject line of a recent post of mine. It's in the Reading Room, posted in reply to the thread 'Isildur and the Oathbreakers'. It's time stamped as Sun, 10:44pm and my post is titled: 'a meandering walkthrough of oaths, curses, Dead Mean, doom and prophecy (destination tbc!)' 'Dead Mean' should read 'Dead Men' :)

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. A popular early noughties film about some wraiths who meet at high school and who learn, through the highs and lows of their social lives, the value of honouring an oath. And makeovers.

It has a decidedly "Young Adult" supernatural series sound to it. Is it streaming? //

Happiness: money matters, but less than we think and not in the way that we think. Family is important and so are friends, while envy is toxic -- and so is excessive thinking. Beaches are optional. Trust is not. Neither is gratitude. - The Geography of Bliss by Eric Weiner as summarized by Lily Fairbairn. And a bit of the Hobbit reading thrown in never hurts. - NottaSackville
