***Baggins Birthday Party Game: You know you're a Tolkien geek when...

Let's celebrate Bilbo, Frodo and Tolkien in general by giving in to our geeky side! There have been many different approaches to expressing ourselves. This game could be dubbed any of the following: 1) You know you're a Tolkien geek when... 2) You know you're addicted to Tolkien / LotR when... 3) You know you're a Middle-earth maniac when... et cetera, et cetera, et cetera... Which is yours, or do you have your own sensibility? Please share your "...WHEN" Here are some of mine "You know you're a Tolkien geek when..." -You can't walk through the grocery store's produce department without sticking taters in your pockets and filling your arms with carrots and cabbages. -You can't go for walks along country roads without watching the treeline for Rangers, Hobbits or walking trees. -When you're asked if you made it to your appointment, you respond, "Yes. I've been there and back again." -When you find out there's a meeting, you mumble, "Well if that isn't a plague and a nuisance!" -Every time someone posts about grammar, I think they're talking to me! "Yes? You called? " ;) -You refer to your home as the "Old Bag's End". -Your car's license plate has been "hobbity" for the last 23 years. -You *twitch* and fight the urge to buy every discounted copy of LotR/Hobbit at the book store... or video store... or thrift store... or yard sales! -You name your pets after Tolkien-related creatures, foodstuff, locations, or characters. -Your local theatre still calls you "The Lord of the Rings Lady". -You still catch small moths in flight, whisper to them, and turn them loose outside.

When a call of nature becomes urgent, and I'm making my way to the loo: "I've put this off for far too long." Mission accomplished, I revert to Shakespearean: "For this relief, much thanks."

and it gives you the shivers to think about lying against it and taking a nap (doesn't have to be a willow). You're in a hurry to get somewhere--anywhere, for any reason--and your mind switches to "Noro lim, Asfaloth. Noro lim!" You're really hungry for something, and the food arrives, and before it reaches the table, your mind runs with "We wants it, Precioussss, we wants it."
