Who is buying the Star Trek DVD/Blu Ray tonight or tomorrow?

We have a tradition in our house of driving to the nearest all-night facility at 12:01 a.m. to get our "must haves". I think the last one I went for was either RotK EE or Pirates, and for Mr. P is was the last Bond movie. We are going tonight for Star Trek. Who else is buying?
 
... if I can just decide between the Future Shop DVD Steelbox Edition or the Best Buy Blu-Ray Special Edition (don't have a Blu-Ray player, but the Enterprise replica looks enticing and it comes with a DVD version of the movie, I think)...

I expected it to be really expensive when it first came out, so I thought I'd have to wait. But I am really surprised at some of the prices I'm finding, so happily I'm hoping to pick one up before the weekend.

It was great seeing the commercials again - I love that "Buckle up" line and the accompanying shoulder clap [sly].

The DVD went on sale here in the UK yesterday and I bought the 2 disc DVD.The extras are so worth the extra money, especially the gag reel, the piece about the excellent casting and how JJ Abrams & his team went about making a Star Trek film that would appeal to non fans.Well, that worked out just fine [cool]
 
and they wanted $29.99 for it. I KNEW Amazon was selling it for $19.99 so I didn't get it last night. I'll have to wait till it comes in the mail, but that's alright. I couldn't give that extra $10 for the movie when I knew that Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. were selling it so much cheaper. That tradition is now broken, I think. But we had a good time during the ride out to Meijer so it's all good.
 
and my next will be The Hobbit pt.1 ;)

I've got my Star Trek on the way after buying it on sale (online) for $8 brand new! I wouldn't have had time to watch it until this weekend anyway. SO BUMMED!!! but when I do sit an watch it, I won't have any of that "grown up" noise in my head distracting me with what I SHOULD be doing ;)
