What do you know,I just bought one of these, and I'm holding it in my grubby paws! Kudos to whoever the Tolkien fan is at my local Barnes and Noble! I work right next to one, and often pop in there on my lunch breaks to kill time. Today I went in looking for The Economist and found this peeking from the other side of the shelf. "Must be SFX," I thought, "in another month they'll be all over the place." Then I saw "TheOne Ring.net Collector's Edition" in the top righthand corner and my reaction was similar to Gloria Stuart in Titanic "Well, I'll be god-$%(*#D!" [sly]
All I can say is, the folks at Empire had better look to their laurels! I second Daniel's question: What's Topix, precious, and how does it finance? You guys havent got a shadowy connetion to WB now do you?

How did this come about? is this the start of an Offiical Hobbit CLub magazine??
Dat and double drat, I don't have a scanner, but do you folks mind if I spill a little bit?
