We'll be hearing those all day, and I'm a bit concerned about this evening's: we're supposed to be getting small but strong storms coming through, right about the time they'll be starting to shoot them off.

But the storms will bring cooler temps, and I'm all for that!

Totally makes sense that the coverage elsewhere might not be 100% positive. It rarely is. But, the celebrations, coverage, costumes, tall ships, and everything here have been delightful to watch. Very exciting!

Thankfully, they're getting some of the fires under control (a good thing), and there's been a breeze (not always helpful to firefighters), and the result is a somewhat clearer vision of the Rockies.
