Greetings Fellow Walkers!

Here we meet at the end of all things 2023's WtR :) It's also the Winter Solstice! What a busy time of the year! This coming weekend is also the Christmas holiday! I NEED A NAP! ;)

I hope all is well in your world and that you're enjoying these last days of the year. I know I already have my New Year's Resolution planned... and I'm afraid a very tired, typical one. Staring AGAIN on my diet and more exercise!!! I've been keeping up with both, but everywhere I go this time of the year involves wonderful foods I normally don't eat. Don't get me wrong! This kind of torture is very fun, but very punishing!

How are you coming along on your Quest and resolve? It is SO hard to keep at it with so many distractions, and I will be the first to support having a break once in a while. This is definitely one of those times :) So enjoy your holidays! *tosses confetti, toots horn!*

Although, back in Middle-earth, the Hunters and I are having some surreal moments on the Paths of the Dead. Very intense! I'm applying my mantra "Just keep swimming" as we take one step after another!!

Happy Holidays, Walkers... and I'll see you on the Road of 2024! :D

Greetings Fellow Walkers!

Lookie where we are!!! It's the start of a new year!!! Have you set yourself up with a Resolution? You know... those promises you make for yourself that always help you feel SO GOOD about what you usually don't ever accomplished. *sigh* Nice way to start the New Year ;) But if we don't try, we've already blown it. So why not take the leap of faith and go for it! Isn't that really what a Quest is all about? Journey to a Goal? I'm going to lose 15 pounds! 5 pounds at a time! *whimper* One pound a week! TALLY HO!

So how are you enjoying your New Year? Be sure to have some fun with whatever it is you decide to do. There's enough toiling in our days to keep us busy, so pick at least 15 mins to an hour in there to just relax and do/think/be something non-stressful. I got myself a new Christmas treadmill (since I burned out the other one), and it is the most accommodating to my preferences of any I've ever had! So I'm having fun for 30 to 90 mins almost every day as I walk my way though some of my favourite TV shows.

There's another set of people who are a little less stressful in Middle-earth, too. Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas and I have finally made it through the Paths of the Dead and have reached the Stone of Erech. I'm really looking forward to the boat ride Aragorn has promised :D

Take care... and enjoy your Quest! I'll see you on the Road!

Greetings Fellow Walkers!

Now that we're reaching the end of January, I think we've done as much damage to the first month of 2024 as we can when it comes to pursuing our New Year's Resolutions!! Did you hear that big CRASH in Michigan. Yep... t'was moi. But I do get back up... eventually ;)

How are you coming along in your Quest? Be sure to set a target that is fair, fun, functional and/or fulfilling... even in small increments. All Quests must have some feeling of encouragement and fulfillment for it to have a rewarding outcome. Mine is that Steven Colbert Ben & Jerry's Americone Dream ICE CREAM CONE waiting for me to be a good girl :) *slaver, slurp* I'm afraid it will be a bit melty by the time I get there!

So how are you coming along on your Quest? What is your goal and how are you getting there? Curious (and sympathetic) Fellow Walkers want to know! :)

I'm still tooling around in Middle-earth with Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas... and now with a whole army of scrubbing bubbles (the Dead) making an impressive entourage! We have a long way to go yet before reaching the Great River and on to Gondor, but we're working on it! A Quest, fersher!!

Have a wonderful time... and stay safe! I'll see you on the Road! :D

Greetings Fellow Walkers!

I hope all is well in your world. Here in Michigan, I'm getting some goodly mileage in as I take advantage of some incredible weather! We made it up to 60 degrees f today and should do it again tomorrow :D I could be picking up fallen twigs and the winter messy stuff and get some mileage in that way; but I'm losing the battle of talking myself into getting started with it ;)

Are you having any luck with clocking in your time and mileage? Do tell on your goal and manner of attack! Sometimes it does seem like a battle to keep at it!

I hope you're having good weather where you are. At least as good as the Hunters, the scrubbing bubbles and I are having in Middle-earth as we make our way to Minas Tirith. We're hoping they don't finish the war before we get there. I mean... you've got to admit we're sporting a very impressive army ;)

Take care one and all... and I'll see you on the Road!
