i hope soon... in germany it is twenty past midnight, so i hope when i will wake up tomorrow i am going to see the trailer ;)

I am waiting in bated anticipation!!!!!

(but unfortunately I have to do a darn essay assignment for tommorrow, so I'm feeling kinda down....)

:)

Is that official?

I'm very confused... see, I had originally heard that it was going to be attached to Sherlock (one article: http://spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2011/11/22/dark-knight-rises-hobbit-trailers-attached-to-sherlock-holmes-2/) so I was planning to see it at the midnight showing. Then I heard TORn report it was being attached to TinTin, which makes sense... but does that mean the Hobbit will NOT be attached to Sherlock? Very confused, and I don't want to stay up for a midnight showing if I get no Hobbit trailer!

...just think it would be a kinda neat thing to watch, you know? After waiting 10 years or so... Anyone else feel the same? [angelic]

YES! Usually teaser trailers are only about a minute and a half, this means we will see 1 more minute of footage! It'll be hard to top the trailers for the lotr movies. They were all so good! I hope it shows us the most footage! [;)]

.....so I hope once again that they dont do some cheesy trailer that goes through all the characters like an animated children's film.

But the reports so far have suggested that it is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

So I cannae wait!!

:)

Teaser trailers do vary in length. Yes, most of the time they are short, but what remains consistent is that they don't usually show or tell too much. For example, the Spider-Man 2 teaser trailer was about 2 minutes long, half of it being a select scene from the film playing out, followed by a montage of clips.

In short, the teaser could show us a lot, or barely anything at all. It depends on how it's constructed.

the confusion comes from posters from Europe and posters in North America talking two different things. TinTin has been out in Europe without the trailer. So it is thought the trailer will appear with TinTin in NA. It might be attached to Sherlock in Europe or the US.

I hope that wasn't another swipe at Evangeline Lilly! It's not her fault she's not in the book! Leave the poor thing alone! [evil]
