The press release seems to be very carefully constructed to skirt around that info. Perhaps they've only just gotten the overall agreement in place but the specific writing and directing deals have not yet been hammered out. (Whoever will be writing or directing.) I'm sure there are also scheduling issues they'll need to address as this whole thing takes shape.

I'm keeping all my crossables crossed that PJ returns to the director's chair and that PJ, Fran and Phillipa return to the keyboards for scripting duties!

(I'm also betting that they originally intended to have this announcement out on Tolkien's birthday but that negotiations weren't untangled yet.)

I CAN BARELY CONTAIN MY GLEE!!!

I know it's probably frowned upon in the corporate world, but I simply must do a small jig in my cubicle!
