The best SF/F movie kisses

While compiling this list I realised that SF/F kisses tend to be written rather clunkily, on the whole. But given that, which of these do you rate as the best movie kiss?
 
Luke and Leia from Jedi, but was wondering about their kiss in Empire? When 3PO interrupts them? I'd forgotten about the one in Jedi until I saw the choices. What about Jabba licking Leia? Does that count?
 
Jabba licking Leia .... I suppose it does count as a kiss. I'll include that on a future 'gross-out' list, shall I? [tongue]

I did wonder about the Empire Strikes Back smooch - it's a bit of a toss-up between that and the RotJ one!
 
the one of spidey and kirstan dunst was purty darn good.

but i think i'll have to pick the ROTJ one...tho i think ESB is the better of those two.

For this poll, I went with Princess Bride, but the Han/Leia kiss from the Empire Strikes Back set my little teenage heart aflutter. [laugh]

For best kiss... I'll have to say the Leia/Han. But the Aragorn/Arwen runion is a very close 2nd.
 
UT totally ruined the Aragorn/Arwen kiss I'd waited a lifetime for by cracking a joke during it. Cracking a joke!

Can I muster a mob with pitchforks here?
 
Empire Strikes Back was the subject of a lot of my fantasies in my early twenties. Even if (or maybe because) some of the best dialog was lifted from Gone With the Wind.

Sounds like time hasn't eased the pitchfork pain. I didn't really get into the Aragorn/Arwen kiss, and I'm not sure why, except that Liv just wasn't Arwen for me, not until the vision of Eldarion.
 
I selected "Other" because I think the Empire Strikes Back kiss between Han and Leia was actually more tantilizing. They kissed for just a brief moment before C3-PO interrupted them. It was a huge tease, but very a ver passionate build-up.

The Arwen and Aragorn kiss was good, but the reason it was good was because Aragorn wasn't expect to see her, and that was one of the many changes to the story that I wasn't happy with. So I couldn't bring myself to choose it.

I haven't seen most of the others.
 
but John Crichton and Aeryn Sun ("Farscape") would have got my vote if they'd been on the list, especially the one after she's just had their baby in the middle of a gunbattle in "Peacekeeper Wars."
 
The Princess Bride one. But honestly anytime the hero and heroine kiss is the best. It's hard to judge between kisses especially when you haven't seen them recently. I'd say that the Han\Leia and the Will\Elizabeth ones were nearly tied with what I did vote for and with the exception of the Arwen/Aragorn, I haven't seen the others.
 
She came to rescue him. A woman saving her man. He says, "Who are you?" She says, "Someone who loves you." Imagine the relief Han felt knowing he was in her arms. And the love she was feeling knowing he was going to be alright. So simple. So romantic. [heart] Well, at least a few seconds of romance before Jabba's evil laugh ruins the moment, and he makes Leia his half-naked slave.
 
You could hear a pin drop such was the sudden silence in the cinema and I know so many women who went to see the movie over and over because of Sparrabeth.

Voted Terminator because it was incredible and actually moved the plot forward in the big way.
