Ugh! I woke up with a sore back yesterday morning and I've been helping my sister lug boxes around for her yard sale. Here's hoping with don't have to lug anything back into her apartment!!

I'm studying again. I have my first Communication Law class on Tuesday and this is not going to be an easy test. So this weekend is dedicated to studying studying studying! And then I have another Mass Comm theories test next Thursday... and I didn't do so well on the last one... (no idea why!)

So I need something that will awaken my mind and help me focus and study better! The law class is interesting, but theories is seriously throwing me!

*sigh*

Now I remember why summer classes are so crazy!

But trying not to focus on that too much and enjoying the fact that I can go to college, that I have a good job and a great place to come and enjoy the things I love. :-)

A triple extra large with lots of ice, I think. I'm going to be out in the heat all weekend selling fireworks. Which will likely be fun, but it's going to be high nineties all weekend. =P

I may or may not post here the next two Fiestas due to my plans: two 5-day music festivals in a row! (Whoo!! I *LOVE* reviewing!!! :D ... Er, that didn't come out quite right, heheh-- I don't love missing Fiesta; I just love reviewing and photographing and rocking out at concerts and such. :D )

I think I'd like a large Spring/Summer Usual with some whipped cream and sprinkles to celebrate the summer fun ahead, please. Thanks! :)

ah heck, can I just have a K&C, even though it's summer?

Has anybody here ever had sweet sherry? It's what all the genteel English ladies drink in a lot of the old films I watch. I've often wondered what it tastes like, if it's strong, for example, since I just drink sissy drinks. I've heard it's expensive in real life so I probably won't ever really taste it...

with a bunch of friends, this time no kiddies along! Our Canada Day holiday is Tuesday of next week, so I have taken Monday off as well. And the weatherman is promising us fabulous weather over the next few days, although I don't have much faith in him any more.

Here's a quick pic I took of the house now we got the outside painted. Keep in mind we haven't done the trim yet. You may not see that there is wire all around my flower planters to keep the deer from devouring them.

It is a Belgian beer, you might need to check the top shelf for it, I don't think it is served here often...

But I am preparing for a Belgian Beer Night with friends tonight. So it is important to eat as well (one needs a good foundation if one is going to enjoy various heavy beers...), so I'll have some fries with that too please!
 
Bad day indeed - "Catastrophic mechanical failure" are not nice words to hear in a lab environment. Thankfully no one was hurt (shudders to think what could have happened) --

Anyway need beer then off home to forget about work for the weekend

It hasn't hit 100 degrees yet today, so the drive into work was nice. I haven't been here in quite a few weeks, so I'm sure there's quite a bit of news for me to catch up on.

So last time I was here I think I mentioned an upcoming date at a baseball game? Well, the date went really well, and I'm still seeing the guy. But we're just taking our time and trying not to rush things. In the meantime, it's nice to have someone to talk to, to watch movies with, to snuggle with.

Baseball has been disappointing recently (oh so sad!), but I'm hoping that things will turn around soon. But other than that, life is pretty good.
