Might be when she said "They are going to add lots of characters" she spoke about Frodo, Galadriel and other characters who are original Tolkien's characters plus she had on her mind also new made up characters.
And now when she said "They are going to add few new characters" she spoke about made up characters only.

I take the thing about hobbit with a grain of salt. It looks like a joke to me because she mentioned hairy feet as a main reason she doesn't want to be a hobbit.

is this was at a press conference for "Hannah" and she has noticeably changed her story.
 
...waste such a beauty to play the role of an anonimous hobbit, if she is in TH she has to play as Itaril POINT
 
I wish they would hurry up and either confirm or deny at this point, it's just driving us all nuts. [crazy] While they're at it, they can confirm Hugo Weaving, who seems to be up in the air at this point, since no one has said anything about it in a while.
 
Thus essentially achieving her goal and causing her to become a barefoot Elf. Lol. Anyway, who can blame her for desiring an Elf role? Lol. Anyway, she looks the part. Unless she is the Took Ancestors Fairy Wife, I don't see The Shire being her home.
