new scenes in the lotr movies?

Hi everybody!!!!!!!!!
Well i have a tought around my head, what do you feel about it?
It´s about peter recording some extra scenes of the lord of the rings, i know is very unlike but frodo is back, and they have a very big budget, and they know that if they make an re-release of the films in theaters they will sell it, or only for a special 25th aniversary edition(i heard peter on a dvd extra say that for example sam´s scene crossing the gates of cirith ungol was recorded but lefted behind but for a 25th edition maybe they could put those scenes on the movie) well i´m talking about tom bombadil basicly

That link describes a bunch of scenes that were filmed but didn't even make it to the extended cuts, so I don't see it as too much of a stretch to think that an even longer cut could be released in the future.

We can only hope [:P]

But more likely they already have it filmed and they just need to put it together. Hmm. Maybe it's already put together and they just haven't released it. Now that is a Middle Earth Conspiracy theory. [tongue]

wow thank you for the link talkingmongoose, and yea i would be glad if they put it on the mega extended cut, dont mind, ´cause some of the extended scenes on the extended cuts i dont like them so much, for example never understood why they made that trama so unclear, of denethor being mad trough the palantir, i dont see it so hard to explain, though they waste time in te erech scenes with the schools and all of that, that even doesnt appear in the book, ´something festess in heart of middle hearth, something that you have failed to see, but the great eye has seen it´ ¿why they make it so unclear? i mean , it took me a brief to think about what was wrong in heart of middle earth, and also maybe it woul be more epic showing an old sam sailing into the west,
i like the movies a lot, anyway, and peter did a job to apreciate, seeing them is like watching drawings of an artist, even i culd watch the movies without sound and enjoy them as wellXD

take care

and to be clear, your second link is fan created to some extent. That music is chosen by the fan who created this video (and is not Shore or LOTR score music at all) and I'm not sure how much editing was done to piece together footage from different sources. (extra appendices material mixed with actual movie footage?).

But both are good sources for seeing the visuals of scenes that were considered for the movie but discarded before any inclusion... if I'm not mistaken (which would be how a scene would come to be 'deleted')

The info about this video is in German language. I don't speak German.
"Eine Szene aus "Die Rückkehr des Königs". Da sie aber zu weit von der Buchvorlage entfernt war, wurde Sauron durch einen Troll ersetzt. Da sich aber auf der Making-Of DVD de Extended Edition einige Ausschnitte aus dem Kampf befinden, habe ich sie wieder eingefügt..."

The only info in English language by the person who uploaded the video is:"The Scenes are from the Making-Of on the Special Extended DVDs."

(which I'm sure can be improved on by any number of German speakers on this site... should they happen upon this thread)

A scene from "The Return of the King. " Since it was too far from the original book, Sauron was replaced by a troll. Since, however, are on the making-of DVD de Extended Edition a few clips from the fight, I have re-inserted

I think most of us would realize that music was not LOTR score music... it's just my fear that someone will happen upon conversations like this and assume something we all take for granted. I do a lot of searching on the web for information and one place I'll find it is in forum conversations such as we have here. So, in the interest of future searchers... I just like the information to be clear and explicit. :-)
