I'm surprised to see how long Nori's hair actually is! I guess that picture is sometime after the barrel escape (in Dale?). He has a proper Dwarf beard, after all.

The EMPIRE Winter Preview isn't worth getting. It has a small paragraph on The Hobbit (annoyingly called The Hobbit 2). But the article does say the film features the "poisonous Necromancer". Do they mean that literally, or metaphorically? Hmmm ...

if you want to see more of it like that, go back and watch Vlog 11. That's Jed leading the dwarvercise session with his hair hanging down just like in this photo. Perhaps now we know what scenes they were filming at the time.

I'm still anticipating the post-trilogy recap someone must make of the trilogy-long devolution of Nori's hair. Never, when the "starfish" uproar first burst out, did I think that I would so enjoy watching what happens to it over the course of an adventure. [laugh]

I'm so giddy right now and feel so sorry for Kili. He was supposed to be the hot dwarf of the pack but his uncle's shadow's just too long. Just look at him. Have there ever been a manlier character in these movies? I think he trumps even Boromir. [heart][heart][heart][heart]

it does look like Thorin has something in his hair, but if you look above Nori's head in the Laketown picture, the same yellow smudge is there, so it's part of the border.

I'm glad you spotted that. I was beginning to think Thorin had taken to a new kind of hair ornament!
