Lovely, lovely, lovely art. The composition is so soft and smooth, not a harsh line anywhere, and the colors just seem to melt so flawlessly into each other... and considering a lot of these artists do all their work entirely on the computer, that's some mad digital skills. I can't do that to save my life. I just make terrible drawings with colored pencils. I also can't do backgrounds... Even these look stellar in comparison to the rest of a blank white sheet.

So, yeah, I'm trying my best not to fangirl and covering up my failure in that regard by talking about art and not about the art's subject matter... [cool] Because if I don't, I'm gonna start rambling about how much I like Fili's braids and about Kili's half smile in the third picture... [blush] Oops. There I went. *flees before further fangirling can take place*

And thank you for "raising the tone" of our discussions. It is so refreshing to discuss art for art's sake.... I think I could look at the composition for hours. And the color palette... inspiring!
