It has been a rough month, but I am back, and glad to be here, too! Grandma is recovering in a convalescent facility, where daily physical and occupational therapy is enabling her to regain the same skills of independence that she has enjoyed for all of these years, which she lost after two surgeries within ten days (not recommended for a 92 year old woman, but the second one was an emergency admit, after the stitches came loose from the first one.) In fact, she seems to be once again recovering hobbit-fast, so we have high hopes that she will be in her own home in time for the holidays.

Glad your Grandma is on the path to recovery! At her age, that's not to be taken for granted. But she really is an amazing woman! I am glad you were able to be with her for so long, and I keep my fingers crossed that she will make a full recovery.

Best wishes for a continued speedy recovery for your Grandma. She sounds like a remarkable woman! (But then, some of your past posts have made that clear.)
 
And I bet your grandma's feeling a whole lot healthier and happier, too!
