I kind of sort of addressed it in a way. But I can't completely. See my reply in that thread. I've suggested the OP repost their question here but I just wanted to make sure it didn't get overlooked.

I am confused by the wording of the FAQ as quoted in my post there. I think my tutorial on image posting will only be confusing to people until we work out what that FAQ really intends. I might gently point out that this should really be addressed by someone who completely understands the pixel/kb issue of images. I've seen replies to these sorts of questions that indicate to me that the mod doesn't really understand it completely and it can get even more confusing. :-) Trust me, to this graphic designer who has enough experience that it should make sense... that FAQ does not make sense. I'm not sure it was the deciding factor in the image being deleted, but we should work it out so my tutorial supports the FAQs and helps people, not confuse them further.

really, really late for work now!

The other Admins and I will look at ways to make it easier to understand. It was slapped together when the new boards went live and hasn't been updated since. You're guidelines are a godsend in that respect, but it's time the FAQ catches up!

I tend to forget I have stuff like the tutorial. I mean, I think of it when someone needs help, but I'm not so good thinking: hmm.. I wonder if it's up to date.

Likely I would catch a post on Feedback so perhaps, if you refine them, you could just post a little announcement here and then I'd catch it.

Now that I have basic editor, I've been thinking I should do a tutorial for that. So many potential projects... so little time. :-)

...I have enthusiasm for doing!

There are all those others.... like washing the walls. Oi. I am so much older now than the last time I washed walls.

I deleted the picture and invited reags to re-post. Hope it gets posted again, within our guidelines. It was awesome.
