Has Anyone Read Shahnameh?

I started this in October & it is, hands down, the most extraordinarily perfect collection of stories I have ever read! Anyone who loves Tolkien will also love this.

I can't recommend it highly enough. It's the kind of book where every story is better than the one before it. I'm about halfway through. And unlike it's Arabian counterpart, it is astonishingly un-racist & un-misogynistic for it's time. In fact, it is often powerfully ennobling. Let me know whenever you start it!
