Hi everybody![laugh]
I know it has been ages since I posted, but you all are still in my thoughts and heart all the time! And even though I am working all weekend I just couldn't let TORn's 10th pass by unnoticed. So I snuck away just long enough to say hi, give you all a virtual hug, and post a mathom for the occasion. It is not that great a mathom, but it brought back memories. It is from an old thread from years ago on "old" TORn. The thread was a particularly funny one about New Age self help meets Middle earth. I happened to come across my post from that thread, and here it is.

Reasons why I am a better leader of the White Council and overall better wizard then Gandalf.
1. My stylishly tailored, clean and pressed multicolored robes are perfect for any season.
His grey rags are so last age. Whoever said grey is the new black is seriously disturbed! And hasn't the wizard ever heard of detergent?
2. I can breed evil minion super orcs willing to do my every bidding, he can barely manage to manipulate short fat halflings into following his "advice".
3. He possesses a ring of power yet can only manage to perform lame party tricks. If I had a ring of power I would at least manage to rid world of all annoying and bothersome races.
4. My hair is shiny and clean with plenty of volume and I would like to see anyone find even a single split end. I don't think old Gandy has had a good cream rinse in his whole life! And would someone please instruct him on how to use a brush! He should seriously consider dying at this point too, covering the grey would take 1000 years off him!
5. My staff is made of metal and looks very cool because it has the same top as Isengard. It is the little details that matter you know, as I always say, you have to know how to accessorize. Gandalf's "staff" is an old stick he found on the ground. Pathetic! Sometimes I think he doesn't even try!
After writing these reasons that I am a better wizard I not only feel much better about me as a person inside, but have come to the conclusion that Gandalf is a hopeless case and could never possibly usurp me as leader of the White Council. Ever. In a million years even. Even if I was somehow attacked by an army of enraged living trees in some ironic twist of fate. Nope, definitely not going to happen!
