That about sums up my weekend plans. Tonight is a game, with fireworks. Tomorrow is very full, with a game in the afternoon, and church activities at the beginning and end of the day. I might have time for a nap, but probably not. This weekend is the big 10th anniversay celebration for the Diamondbacks. So there's a giveaway tonight and tomorrow, and special appearances by people on the original team, and fan favorites from the last 10 years. It should be really fun.
As I was leaving my apartment this morning, I saw water running down the wall, mostly down the neighbor's wall, coming from upstairs. Hopefully it won't leak too badly into my apartment. That's a worry I don't need right now. My roommate said that she didn't notice anything when she left this morning, but by the time I left an hour later, the ground was wet enough that I could hear the water dripping into the puddle.
But let me go back to the happy thoughts of baseball. I went to the home opener and that was great, as was Doug Davis's last start before his surgery, and the afternoon game wednesday that I couldn't go to. We've had a great first 2 weeks, and this weekend should be another great series. I am looking forwards to it.
Happy weekend, everybody!
Oh, oh, a drink! Umm, well, because it's getting hot outside, it's getting cold inside, so I think a hot chocolate would be super fantastic to have. Thanks!
