Hey, everyone!

I'm subbing today, so choose your food, drink, music, etc. and tell us about your week or upcoming weekend! :)

going out to Red Lobster with friends tomorrow, but nothing wonderful like GOING TO NZ or to a LotR camp! (sniff)

Lurkers, come out to play!

Heh, those do sound fun. Oh well; I'm not going either, so at least you're not alone there. :)

Have a great time (and great food-- yum!) at Red Lobster tomorrow, Patty! :)

I've made it for once! I'm soon to embark on a whole week of looking after the kids on my own, so perhaps I need to chill out just a bit before I start!

Happy weekend everyone!

As for my week, I fear it'll be a repetition of this week, but I'll be writing the intro instead of fighting with formulas ;-)

I've had the past couple of days off work, but the three days I was there were very hectic, end of the financial year, so busy busy! Have spent the past two days viewing houses, drawing, and today I baked a wholemeal honey cake! Oh, and I've been listening to Christopher Lee reading The Children of Hurin, which is very enjoyable. I've not had someone read me a good story since I was young!

It's still chilly here, although it's supposed to get up all of 60 degrees tomorrow - when I will be sitting in the Seahawks' stadium listening to the Dalai Lama!

Everyone please cross fingers for me, I have two very appealing job prospects all of a sudden - one a very lucrative short-term free-lance job, the other a part-time writing job for a fun-to-work-for (three of my friends work there and love it) company in town. This job has a lot of potential to expand over time as the company grows. I'm hoping I get both!

That about sums up my weekend plans. Tonight is a game, with fireworks. Tomorrow is very full, with a game in the afternoon, and church activities at the beginning and end of the day. I might have time for a nap, but probably not. This weekend is the big 10th anniversay celebration for the Diamondbacks. So there's a giveaway tonight and tomorrow, and special appearances by people on the original team, and fan favorites from the last 10 years. It should be really fun.

As I was leaving my apartment this morning, I saw water running down the wall, mostly down the neighbor's wall, coming from upstairs. Hopefully it won't leak too badly into my apartment. That's a worry I don't need right now. My roommate said that she didn't notice anything when she left this morning, but by the time I left an hour later, the ground was wet enough that I could hear the water dripping into the puddle.

But let me go back to the happy thoughts of baseball. I went to the home opener and that was great, as was Doug Davis's last start before his surgery, and the afternoon game wednesday that I couldn't go to. We've had a great first 2 weeks, and this weekend should be another great series. I am looking forwards to it.

Happy weekend, everybody!

Oh, oh, a drink! Umm, well, because it's getting hot outside, it's getting cold inside, so I think a hot chocolate would be super fantastic to have. Thanks!

Might go and visit one of the castles around here this weekend, as long as the weather isnt too bad [:|]

cheers all

I didn't know he narrated the audio version. Cool! And that honey cake sounds yummy, too. :)

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Jazmine! :)

Check out this link!

I don't see the resemblance myself, and it's not the best SB photo I've ever seen, either. But still...

And for a laugh, click the Next arrow, too. [laugh]

We're going to a B'nai Mitzvah tomorrow.

And my mother thinks we need to come spend the night at their house so we can carpool.

Uh...no.

Thanks for filling in Eventides! I'll have a tall iced tea, please!

His powerful voice suits the tone of the book so well. He captures the sorrow so perfectly, it just adds a whole new dimension to the story. I'm really enjoying it, though I keep getting interrupted by my Dad or boyfriend and have to keep pausing! But its a nice way to spend a chilled out Friday evening!

I hope that the weather's good, that you have fun at the castle, and that you have a great weekend! :)
