Got a letter from New Line to me

Do you remember when I posted the name and address of the CEO of Time Warner and urged everyone to start writing him? Well, I did and got a letter today. My letter was, apparently, forwarded to NL. It was from a lawyer and had a bunch of blah, blah, blah stuff in it that we all know already. At the bottom, though it was bcc to the CEO. It was on really nice stationary with the New Line name all shiney like - oooo and ahhhh!

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else got this sort of response.

I have not given up hope...

So.... care to eloborate on the "blah, blah, blah" part? [;)][laugh]

And, if they really intended to "bcc" the CEO, they goofed up. A 'bcc,' or 'blind carbon copy' is supposed to NOT let the other recipient(s) know they were copied. Perhaps it was an intentional slip?
 
of a person who sent a complaint letter to a CEO. The person complaining received a polite reply, but attached to it was a Post-It note saying something like, "Please send this moron the usual apology note." Oops!
 
In some Z-rated newspaper, I once read an article in which the writer mentioned some number, followed by, "(can someone check this?)". I mean, seriously.....
 
And included a print-off with over 2,600 online "signatures" and comments.

(I did delete about five purely obscene comments and a few people who tried to make it an
opportunity to spam.)

Haven't heard a thing.

I hope to send them the next 400 signatures this week.

We appreciate your interest and concern regarding the development of a motion picture based on J. R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit." Currently, we are in litigation with Wingnut Films, the company which furished the services of Peter Jackson to us in connection with The Lord of the Rings. We have been unsuccessful in resolving this litigation depite mediation and direct discussions to settle the matter. Therefore, we cannot comment on this dispute at this time.

I haven't gotten any responses to any of my letters or cards... but I really didn't expect to. I only want to hear one answer... and they're not ready to utter it ;)

Thanks for posting us the response. It's nice to know they care *snigger*
