Favorite Narnia Book and Movie

I don't know how many of you guys on here like the chronicles of Narnia, but if you do what are your top three favorite books in the series? Also out of LWW and PC, which are your fav movies?
Personally, I'm not a Narnia fan like I am a LOTR fan but, the I enjoy the books and just want to know what everyone on here thinks about it.
My top three fav books in order are The Magicians Nephew, The Horse and His Boy, and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. My favorite movie that has been made ( I may change my mind if more Narnia movies come out) is LWW.
 
would have to be The Magician's Nephew. I also really love The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
I didn't much care for either movie. I think I prefer the pictures in my head.
 
Books: Well, Dawn Treader has always been my favorite, but I really like the Magician's Nephew, The Silver Chair (Bring on Bism! :]), and the Last Battle. I like the Silver Chair partly because it involves travelling and a quest (like another book we kinda like around here [;)]--although it has no other similarities to speak of).

As for the movies, I liked parts of LWW and liked PC better, although it was less true to the book. But neither of them looked--or felt, really--like Narnia to me, in the way that the LOTR films instantly made me feel like I was seeing the world I'd always imagined from the books, even though it wasn't perfect. I hope they stay very close to the book in "Dawn Treader" and that it somehow will have that "Narnian look" I've missed so far.

Narnia was my first love but LOTR has stood the test of time better.

Bookwise -- It's Horse and His Boy followed by Dawn Treader and Silver Chair. Eustace is the draw in the latter.

Moviewise -- Prince Caspian was good but there were essential points lost due to making Caspian so mature... though the actor was a delight in terms of his ability and his appearance.

I did take my granddaughter to Hollywood for a LWW showing that had props, fauns and wonderful displays.

However... I still think fondly of the BBC versions from the late 80's.
And with horror of the animated version of LWW 1979
 
I like the animated version.
And I also have fond memories of the BBC 80's series, although it must look pretty clunky now.
 
I like Dawn Treader, The Horse and His Boy and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, in that order.

The films? I liked both of them quite a bit, and thought Caspian was much better than the book.
 
My favourite is The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe followed by The Last Battle and The Magician's Nephew.

I much prefer the books to the movies to date.
