Do you get an e-mail notification on reply?

I do. On all of them. So, when you reply to this post- I will KNOW!!!![evil][laugh][cool] I like knowing who got back to me.[:)]
 
I just started doing this since I have had to be mostly gone from the boards this month due to my M-I-L's death. If I was able to squeeze in a minute or two to post I wanted to make sure I answered people who said something to me. But I find I really like it, and I'm going to keep doing it.
 
I am a scatter-brain sometimes so I don't always remember to check back to answer someone who has answered me.....so I have the email alert....
 
If I have time to check TORN, I do. As an Admin I try to at least scan all active threads so it's rare to miss a reply.
 
That way, I can keep 100% track of all replies so I havent missed anything. If I remember to check my e-mail, of course!
 
How else would I know that someone had said something too me? *tortures your email with a notice* [tongue]
 
I signed up to TORN with my alternate e-mail account. I do that from time to time on message boards and the like. I did have e-mail notification, but I rarely check that e-mail account. I did set it to off recently when I saw how many e-mails I was getting. I think I post too much to the forums that I get more responses than I'd like to see in e-mail form. I usually check in to see if anyone responded to me anyway, so most of the time, responses to me don't go unread by me.
 
Sometimes (although not recently as I haven't been on lately) I end up posting on lots of different pages so I can't recall which ones someone could have replied to or if they were replying to me or someone else...although I suppose viewing in threaded mode would make that easier....oh well I like the email and sometimes there's someone who I want to respond to with a longer message than I have time for, so I like the email notifications.
