I certainly get the sense that Wheel of Time is much farther along in development than LOTR. Understandable in that their task is bringing a finished work to screen whereas LOTR has to be written from scratch. I wonder if we will see any LOTR before 3 years....I think it will take that much time just to outline - visualize and write....it will probably be written while in production in a similar way GOT was unfinished.
 
The development of each project are on different timelines. I really like Rosamund Pike. The first film I saw her in was Pride and Prejudice as the eldest sister. She was wonderful and then she was in action movies like Doom. Very versatile :D
