newsfrombree just posted something great... an analysis of sam as the actual protagonist of the lord of the rings.

only problem is, with all the odd letters/characters rendered by the html, it's terribly hard to read..

it's good to remember we can always go to the home page to read the original article.

Sometimes I do that if I don't want to wait for the clean-up I know will happen eventually.

It also bears mentioning that people can comment on home page articles and sometimes there are extensive rich discussions taking place there. So if a topic *really* interests someone, checking out what people are saying in the comment section below the home page articles can be interesting.
