How it must feel to be Peter Jackson and co. Going back to his own lawsuit with New Line to the last few weeks on insanity and drama... How hard can it be to make two movies...

I think Peter is right in saying there is nothing he can do about it at this stage... The truth of the matter is the hobbit's future lies in the hands of Warner - its up to them if they think it's a worthy Gamble to keep the movie in Nz after all the uncertainness of the last 4 weeks.

I think that Warner had always planned to make the movie in NZ but it's all changed. I can't see how the could justify the gamble... the movie will probably move.


I can take any more of the madness...
 
I hope that The NZ government can convince them its a safe choice.
So much has already been done on site it'd be a shame to further delay production to move it to another suitable place...

You are right though it is out of Pete's hands and ours...except for perhaps a blitz of letters or Emails to Warner Bros.
My heart wants it to stay in NZ but I can't say I'd blame them if they felt the climate to volatile.
 
PJ said he will do the best he can to convince WB to keep it here when they come on Monday and also the Prime Minister will do his best to convinve them so I have hope. I believe!!
