I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but it seems to be the most relevant area [laugh]
I am currently looking for a Gandalf the Grey costume that I could wear for cosplay events, and I have already bought a few bits for it, those being the hat, pipe and scarf. Money is not a problem as I am ultimately after a really professional-looking costume, and so have no qualms about buying a quality robe/cloak/staff etc. What is currently perplexing me is the wig and beard-I don't want to end up with a cheaply-made wig and beard that you would see with a typical Halloween costume, and while I know that it's possible to get high-quality real-hair beards that you attach with spirit gum, I haven't had much luck at finding anything that fits the bill. One website called 'Act One Costumes' did offer something that was pretty much spot on, but the shipping prices to the UK were extortionate (the shipping costing double the price of the product itself, which was about £45 in UK money).
So, my question, essentially, is this: does anyone know where one can find a fake wig/beard that matches Gandalf's hair in the films? As I said I am happy to spend a good amount, but not nearly $200!
